The industry is still expanding. Since 2000, the textile and garment industries have more than doubled. The majority of textile and garment products are exported to Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Children’s Clothing Trade in Turkey
The baby and children’s wear industry grew faster than the adult ready-to-wear clothing industry. With a business volume of approximately 600 million dollars, Turkey ranks first in the baby and children’s clothing sector in terms of import share. The Turkish baby and children’s clothing sector achieved a record volume increase in apparel exports, with the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) setting a target of 52 billion dollars for 2023.
