Canned Chicken
Canned chicken is one of the largest dollar segments for retail canned meats. It is a great option to get many of the health benefits of fresh chicken with none of the required prep time. If you need lean protein that’s quick and easy, canned chicken can be a great option.
Regular cooked chicken will last in your fridge for about 3-4 days. But if you want to keep chicken on hand for longer, canned chicken is the way to go. As long as it stays sealed, the canned chicken will last up to 3-5 years on your shelf.
Canned chicken provides high-quality, protein-rich food that is stable at ambient temperatures and is very convenient. The range of meat-based products available to consumers is large and diverse. Meat is a low-acid food that needs to be sterilized unless other hurdles are employed. Most countries have specific food and hygiene regulations pertaining to the slaughter and processing of meat, and these and the relevant regulatory bodies must be consulted before any meat products are produced. The canned chicken we provide for our customers meets the EU, Halal, Kosher, and organic certifications.
